Job description
We are seeking a Senior Identity Security & Fraud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain identity security solutions while developing strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud. The role focuses on securing digital identities, strengthening authentication and authorization controls, monitoring suspicious activities, and collaborating with security, engineering, and compliance teams to protect organizational assets and customer accounts., * Design, implement, and manage identity security and access management solutions.
- Develop and maintain fraud detection and prevention controls across digital platforms.
- Monitor authentication, authorization, and access-related activities for suspicious behavior.
- Investigate security incidents, account compromises, identity-related threats, and fraud cases.
- Implement and optimize MFA, SSO, risk-based authentication, and identity governance controls.
- Analyze fraud trends, attack patterns, and emerging threats to improve security posture.
- Collaborate with security operations, engineering, risk, and compliance teams on incident response and remediation.
- Conduct security assessments, access reviews, and identity-related audits.
- Support identity lifecycle management, privileged access management (PAM), and user provisioning processes.
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics related to identity security and fraud prevention.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and federation technologies.
- Familiarity with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Experience analyzing fraud patterns, account takeover risks, and authentication threats.
- Knowledge of SIEM, threat detection, and security monitoring tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and incident investigation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities., * Experience with cloud identity platforms and security controls.
- Knowledge of behavioral analytics, fraud detection technologies, and risk-based authentication.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Industry certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CIAM
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM/IAM-related)
- Security+ or equivalent
