Job description

We are seeking an experienced VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC on AWS) Engineer with strong expertise in VMware hybrid cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting VMware Cloud on AWS environments, including NSX-T, vSphere, vSAN, HCX, and VMware Cloud Foundation., * Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) environments.

  • Implement and support NSX-T networking and security solutions.
  • Plan and execute workload migrations using HCX.
  • Integrate on-prem VMware infrastructure with AWS services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware hybrid cloud environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams on cloud transformation initiatives.

  • Strong Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT)
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Advanced Troubleshooting
  • AWS Services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, IAM), * Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • vRealize Suite (vRA, vROps, vRLI)
  • Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
  • Disaster Recovery and Replication Technologies
  • Carbon Black Security
  • VMware Certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX), * 8+ years of VMware Infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years of VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC on AWS) experience.
  • Strong experience in enterprise hybrid cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware migrations, networking, and cloud integrations.
