Job description
Problem Framing & Strategy: Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and frame high-impact problems, determining data requirements and designing robust data collection and annotation strategies. Data Preparation & Feature Engineering: Process and analyze large volumes of unstructured text data, performing essential tasks such as tokenization, normalization, and advanced feature extraction. Modeling & Innovation: Design, build, and rigorously evaluate cutting-edge AI architecture. Experimentation & Validation: Execute comprehensive experiments (including A/B testing), define key evaluation metrics (like F1-score, ROUGE, or perplexity), and optimize model performance against business objectives. Deployment Collaboration: Partner effectively with ML and Software Engineers to transition solutions from research prototypes to robust, scalable, and maintainable production systems.
Requirements
Specialized Experience: 3+ years of practical experience as a Data Scientist with a dedicated focus on data analysis and structuring, as well as working with a team. Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and expert-level familiarity with key ML libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, SpaCy, NLTK) and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch). Data Handling: Proven ability to preprocess, analyze, and manage large-scale text datasets, and comfort working with SQL/NoSQL databases in a big data environment. Translational Communication: You are a clear and compelling communicator with the ability to simplify highly complex AI/NLP concepts and technical findings into actionable insights for both engineers and non-technical product/business leaders. Driving collaboration: You easily adapt to at working cross-functionally, proactively collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to align technical solutions with business goals and drive project completion. Independent & Accountable: You demonstrate high ownership over your models, from initial concept design through to production performance monitoring, and can manage ambiguity effectively.
