Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Frontend Engineer / Architect (Angular 2+) to support a large-scale digital modernization program within a complex, secure enterprise environment. The assignment is part of a long-term transformation initiative running until at least 2028., You will join a multidisciplinary Agile team working on the design, development, and implementation of modern, scalable, cloud-native web applications. The focus is on building robust frontend solutions integrated with RESTful and microservices-based backends., * Design and develop complex Angular (2+) single-page applications
- Build responsive, scalable, and maintainable frontend architectures
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
- Translate UX/UI wireframes into reusable, high-quality code
- Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions
- Develop and maintain Design System component libraries
- Optimize frontend performance and code structure
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders
- Work within Agile delivery teams and participate in iterative development
Requirements

10+ years experience in frontend application development

5+ years experience with Angular 2+

Strong experience in single-page applications (SPA)

Experience in cloud-native frontend development

Proven experience integrating and designing RESTful APIs

Experience building web portals using Angular or portal technologies

5+ years experience working in Agile teams

3+ years experience with Design System / component libraries

3+ years experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)

Optional: experience with Java SE 10+ (backend collaboration context) Languages

English (mandatory)

Dutch or French (at least one required at professional level)
