Job description
As a Business Process & Test Automation Specialist you are responsible for analysing, modelling, automating, and quality-assuring business processes. The role acts as a key interface between Business and IT, ensuring that processes are efficient, transparent, and sustainably automated., * Business Process Analysis: Capture, structure, and evaluate existing business processes in close collaboration with stakeholders, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation
- Process Modelling (BPMN): Document and describe end-to-end processes using BPMN, ensuring clear, audience-appropriate, and audit-ready documentation
- Requirements Translation: Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with architecture and implementation constraints
- Process Automation: Design and implement process automation solutions with Windmill to replace manual tasks and improve efficiency
- System Integration & Collaboration: Integrate existing IT systems and services and collaborate closely with architecture, development, and operations teams
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders across different levels of abstraction
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience in business process anaylsis, test automation, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of BPMN (Level 2+) and hands-on experience with workflow/automation platforms (ideally Windmill)
- Strong software engineering background with practical experience in Java and Python, including solid object-oriented design skills
- Advanced experiencewithj API, in designing, consuming, and testing service interfaces
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit 5, Playwright, or comparable tools)
- Experience in the payments industry or other regulated environments is a plus.
- Ability to effectively bridge business and IT, with strong analytical and audience-appropriate communication skills
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and teamwork in interdisciplinary, international environments; fluent in German and English (written & spoken)
