Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, 80-100%

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement at our location in Zurich for a committed and technically skilled individual as a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Cloud, infrastructure and modern workplace technology. Your tasks

• Design, operation, further development and lifecycle management of our IT infrastructure in the cloud, including AVD

• Design, expansion and operational support of the Microsoft Cloud environment with a focus on Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and Intune

• Operation and further development of central infrastructure and platform services, especially AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, server and domain services

• Implementation, maintenance and optimisation of network and security components such as firewall, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, VLAN and SD-WAN

• Responsibility for topics in the area Identity & Access Management, including Conditional Access, Enterprise Applications, App Registrations as well as Identity-, Mail- and AD-Security

• Participation in technical security as well as ensuring compliance with standards, architectural principles, security and compliance requirements

• Engineering of future-oriented solutions as well as automation of existing and new infrastructures

• Digitalisation and standardisation of processes, among others with PowerShell

• Monitoring and surveillance of infrastructure and services with PRTG

• Support and participation in projects, change requests as well as in requirements engineering and in the further development of IT architectures

• Responsibility for licence management in the Microsoft environment, especially within the framework of Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) models

• Consulting and coaching of internal stakeholders as well as ensuring knowledge transfer on methods, processes and technologies

• Participation in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support as well as technical coordination with application managers and external partners

• Completed training or further education in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the Microsoft environment with a focus on cloud, server administration, infrastructure and platform development
• Sound knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, storage, backup, virtualisation as well as modern infrastructure and cloud technologies
• Very good knowledge of IAM, Entra ID, Conditional Access as well as security-relevant topics in the Microsoft environment
• Experience in the development, optimisation and evaluation of IT architectures and solutions taking into account security and compliance
• Confident handling of PowerShell and enthusiasm for automation and standardisation
• Experience as a system engineer, cloud engineer or IT architect
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style as well as pronounced communication and presentation skills
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Microsoft certifications as well as experience with methodological frameworks in the Microsoft environment are an advantage
