Infrastructure Architect - On-Prem & AWS- International Porject

Design and validate on-premise infrastructure architectures:

• Linux (Red Hat, SUSE) and Windows Server environments
• Virtualisation platforms (VMware / vSphere / vCenter)
• Enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, NetApp, RAID, replication)

Define infrastructure components: compute, storage, backup, network, security.

Design and integrate enterprise identity & authentication solutions:

• Active Directory, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC

Ensure architectures meet security, compliance, and enterprise standards.

Support incident analysis by reviewing infrastructure designs and identifying risks or bottlenecks.

Hybrid Cloud & AWS

• Design hybrid architectures connecting on-premise environments with AWS.
• Work with AWS infrastructure services such as:
• VPC, EC2, IAM, S3
• AWS databases and virtual workspace solutions
• Ensure consistency between on-premise and AWS environments.
• Support cloud adoption while respecting existing infrastructure standards.

Architecture Documentation & Governance

• Produce and review architecture documentation (HLD / LLD, diagrams, constraints).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Contribute to architecture guidelines and best practices.

Must-Have

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect (or equivalent).
• Strong background in on-premise infrastructure design.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Linux & Windows Server
• VMware / virtualised data centers
• Enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Experience designing hybrid architectures with AWS.
• Solid understanding of enterprise security and identity management.
• Experience writing formal architecture documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure-level container platforms (OpenShift, EKS).
• Experience in large, enterprise, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
