Business Intelligence Business Analyst | Inside IR35 | London (Hybrid) | 6 months+
We're supporting a global professional services organisation on a major enterprise Reporting & Analytics transformation and are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Business Analyst to join a large-scale programme delivering new reporting capabilities across the business.
This isn't a hands-on BI Developer role.
We're looking for someone who can act as the bridge between the business and the BI delivery team-working closely with Finance, Business Development and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, define KPIs, challenge existing processes and translate business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements for developers.
You'll be responsible for:
- Running workshops and gathering reporting requirements from senior business stakeholders
- Translating business needs into Epics, User Stories and functional specifications
- Working closely with BI Developers and Data Engineers to ensure reporting solutions meet business expectations
- Defining KPIs, metrics and reporting logic
- Supporting UAT, backlog refinement and reporting transformation activities
We're looking for candidates with:
- Strong Business Analysis experience delivering new BI or Reporting capabilities
- Experience acting as the interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- A background in reporting, analytics or data transformation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across Finance, Business Development and operational teams
- Experience working within Agile environments
Highly desirable:
- Experience within Legal or Professional Services
- Familiarity with Finance and Business Development processes and reporting
- Exposure to Power BI, Snowflake or enterprise data platforms (delivery rather than hands-on development)
