Active Directory management and Microsoft Server security - The Systems Administrator position will help maintain BC's Active Directory and server environment. Security must always be the most important priority when managing Active Directory and Microsoft servers. Following our Best Practices and Change Control are critical job requirements for this position., Microsoft Windows Operating System - The Windows group is responsible for the entire life cycle of Microsoft Windows Servers in the data center. This includes building new servers, maintaining/patching and retiring the servers when they are no longer needed. Linux experience is desirable as the Systems Administrator position will work with servers in the data center, help with both Linux and Windows server automated deployments and various scripting needs.

- Systems Administrator: $95,100 - $118,900; 3-5 years related professional experience
- Associate Systems Admin: $78,100 - $97,650; 1-3 years experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Strong working knowledge of VMWare management
- Expert level knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 and optionally Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with infrastructure automation including tools such as Ansible and Python
- Advanced PowerShell/PowerCLI experience applicable with AD Windows and VMWare
- Familiar with Container based solutions management (Podman, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Cloud Solution Providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) preferred
- Experience with Identity Management (Active Directory, SAML, ADFS, OAUTH)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring and reporting tools such as Splunk and Zabbix
- Able to follow ITIL, SAS115 controls, HIPAA and PCI requirements
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises
- Write custom scripts and create Group Policy Object (GPO)
- Perform system patching and hardware maintenance
- Familiar with current storage management technologies
- Experience with designing an Active Directory environment for an enterprise environment to include designing global and group policies, designating organization units (OUs) and delegating authority in an AD environment
- Scripting/Coding skills as it relates to producing modular, reusable, clean maintainable code that drives the infrastructure
- Automation tool experience like Packer and Jenkins for virtual server automation
- Source code control experience with GITHub and CI/CD processes
- Experience managing Antivirus for servers
- Familiarity with SSL certificate management
- Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Windows and MS SQL clustering
- Must be available to provide off-hours support and participate in on call coverage rotation
