Job description

Support service teams with escalated customer issues, reproducing such issues internally, and supporting R&D in the investigation and resolution. Identify, where feasible, workarounds or other mitigations to eliminate or lessen the impact of issues in production environments until issues are fully investigated and resolved by R&D. Plan, design, implement, and execute test cases. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Identify and report defects, supporting defect resolution, and contributing to the continuous improvement of test processes. Design, build, maintain, improve, and optimize test environments, including hardware, virtualization, networking, and storage systems integration. Write and improve automation test cases for performance and stress testing. Ensure the release of high-quality software. 10% Domestic and International travel required. Hybrid work permitted.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The position requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered as a Software Engineer (developer), Software Tester, Systems Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: Strong experience in test planning, design, and execution. Proficiency in managing test environments and test data. Experience in defect management and working in an Agile environment. Experience in Healthcare IT and protocols like DICOM (mandatory), HL7 V2 (mandatory), and FHIR (optional). Experience with test strategies, processes, and best practices. Experience with test automation. Familiarity with DevOps Server test management and reporting tools. Strong understanding of networking, including both physical and architectural network concepts including TCP/IP, switches, routers, firewalls, cabling, network commands and utilities. Proficiency in Windows software installation such as operating systems and SQL components. Previous exposure and use of virtualization (VMWare or Hyper-V) Windows administration (server and client OS and SQL server). IIS/DNS/DHCP/usermanagement/storage/networking/backup/Acronis. Experience with Scripting (Powershell). Experience with TFS, Visual Studio, C#. Ability to author automated tests for services. Experience with creation and maintaining UI tests with Ranorax. Experience working with regulated (FDA, ISO) software development/testing. Ability to develop WPF applications in C# .NET Framework. Knowledge of and experience using and supporting a Cardiology Information System, including core functionality and workflows, as well as understanding the underlying data communications, storage, retrieval and interactions with other systems in the healthcare environment. 10% Domestic and International travel required.
