Job description

As a Jr. Software Engineer, you will work closely with our software engineering team to gain hands-on experience engineering software for factory-ready battery inspection systems. Responsibilities include: programming and testing various new software features, communicating with stakeholders about feature requirements, and building long-lasting and maintainable code.

Main responsibilities will include

  • Engineering software for benchtop and factory-ready equipment
  • Collection and refinement of software project requirements
  • Designing and implementing code to meet project requirements
  • Defining test plans for newly created features

Requirements

  • B.S degree in C.S., engineering, mathematics or similar disciplines
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (C# and Python preferred)
  • Comfortable in both technical and non-technical communication
  • Solid Computer Science fundamentals & unit testing practices
  • 0 to 2Y Experience

Nice to haves

  • Systems programming experience
  • Proficiency in using Docker and Docker-related tools
  • Proficiency in the Linux command-line, Windows systems
  • Proficiency with software development on Windows systems
  • Experience interfacing with and controlling hardware; PLC programming
  • Experience with CI/CD automation and testing best practices
