Job description

As a Product Owner in our Commercial Information Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of medium-scale projects that span several months. These projects are integral to supporting the expansion of our Commercial Patient Services business area. In this role, you will adhere to our established project standards and processes, ensuring a well-structured and controlled implementation approach. Your contributions will be key in maintaining governance and control over the project execution, thereby ensuring the successful growth of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a bridge between the technical team and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and ensuring alignment of objectives for seamless project execution.

  • Ensure the high-quality and timely delivery of technical implementation projects, complete with all necessary deliverables and artifacts.

  • Proactively provide updates on project status, anticipate potential challenges, and effectively communicate dependencies, issues, and risks to all relevant parties.

  • Oversee third-party staff from managed service providers to:

o Collect comprehensive business and functional requirements.

o Develop detailed project plans and provide accurate cost estimates.

o Technically develop and thoroughly test solutions.

o Ensure that project goals and value propositions are met, aligning with initial estimates.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in delivering commercial IT projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Have excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project management.

  • Real world experience in the following areas:

o Salesforce CRM, including Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

o Middleware integration software such as Boomi, Mulesoft, etc.

o Data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik, etc.

o Pharmaceutical commercial data sets, including hub data and specialty pharmacy data.

Proven ability to:

  • Organize and coordinate cross-functional teams.

  • Lead status meetings and holding team members accountable for deliverables, with timely escalation of blockers.

  • Proactively anticipate, track, and plan for risks, issues, dependencies, resourcing, and contingencies.
