Job description
A leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking a Test & Integration Engineerto support hardware testing and validation efforts. This role focuses on developing automated test software and executing verification activities on complex electronic systems in a lab environment. This is a 12-month contract with strong potential for conversion to a full-time role. The Test & Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software tools used to test hardware components such as processing units (PUs) and digital units (DUs). This individual will work within a controlled lab setting and contribute to verification and validation testing using environmental test fixtures. The ideal candidate has experience building test scripts from scratch and working throughout the full software development lifecycle., * Develop and maintain automated test scripts using LabVIEW and TestStand
- Execute hardware testing at the component and subsystem level
- Support verification and validation activities in environmental test setups
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Follow configuration management and source control processes
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC related to test development
- Document test procedures, results, and system performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing software to test hardware at the component level
- Hands-on experience creating test scripts from scratch in LabVIEW and/or TestStand
- Experience with configuration management and source control processes
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test development methodologies
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Benefits & conditions
$50/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
