Job description
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the development of high-quality instructional content, course syllabi, module plans, learning materials, assessments, and applied learning activities related to Financial Technology (FinTech). The SME will contribute expertise in areas such as digital payments, marketplace lending, blockchain, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence applications in financial services, FinTech regulation, compliance, fraud prevention, risk management, and technology forecasting.
The SME will collaborate with curriculum specialists, instructional designers, and academic leadership to help ensure that course content is accurate, current, industry-relevant, and aligned with the needs of today's digital financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop academic content for FinTech-related courses.
- Design learning outcomes, topics, activities, case studies, applied projects, and assessments.
- Review and validate course content to support accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current industry practices.
- Align course content with emerging trends in digital financial services.
- Incorporate practical examples related to digital banking, digital payments, lending, blockchain, artificial intelligence, fraud prevention, compliance, and financial regulation.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and academic teams during course development and review activities.
- Recommend academic resources, readings, tools, case studies, and other learning materials that support course objectives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in LMS?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Finance, Financial Technology (FinTech), Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Technology Management, Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Analytics, or a related field.
- Professional and/or academic experience in FinTech, banking, payments, lending, risk management, compliance, analytics, digital transformation, or financial services.
- Applied knowledge of financial technologies and their impact on the financial services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop academic content that is clear, current, and practice-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital banking, digital payments, marketplace lending, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), fraud prevention, blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital assets, or artificial intelligence applications in financial services.
