Job description

  • Provide remote and onsite support for managed clients across workstations, servers, networking equipment, and VoIP systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows environments, Microsoft 365, VPNs, firewalls, printers, and email systems
  • Assist with and lead server-related work including domain controllers, application servers, and system migrations
  • Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V virtualization, and terminal services environments
  • Configure and support managed network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
  • Document systems, changes, and resolutions thoroughly within the company documentation platform
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Follow established processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, AdvanTech is expanding into Gainesville, FL and seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with prior MSP experience to help establish our presence there. In this role you will provide advanced technical support across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and managed network environments. This is not an entry-level or traditional help desk role. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot independently, communicate confidently with clients, and take ownership of issues from resolution through documentation., * Proven experience working in an MSP environment as an IT Engineer or similar role

  • Strong troubleshooting ability across Windows workstations and servers
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, VLANs)
  • Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V preferred)
  • Ability to manage workload independently without micromanagement
  • Clear, professional communication skills with non-technical users and business decision-makers
  • Based in the Warner Robins / Macon area with reliable transportation for onsite client support

Preferred:

  • Experience with Ubiquiti or similar managed networking platforms
  • Experience supporting VoIP systems
  • Exposure to server migrations and infrastructure projects, * MSP Experience
