Job description

As the hiring partner for a respected national manufacturer and supplier of paper processing equipment, we are currently accepting resumes for an exciting Inside Service Technician / Technical Support Specialist opportunity.

Are you an experienced technician looking to leverage your troubleshooting skills in a professional office environment? This role offers the opportunity to transition from hands-on field work into a rewarding technical support position where you'll help customers solve equipment issues remotely.

As a key member of the Service Team, you'll serve as the frontline technical resource for customers and dealers across North America. You'll provide remote troubleshooting assistance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, guide customers through repairs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional technical support and customer service to customers and reseller partners
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related equipment issues by phone and remote support tools
  • Guide customers step-by-step through equipment repairs and operational adjustments
  • Document service activity and maintain accurate support records
  • Manage and prioritize incoming service requests and technical support tickets
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and operations teams to resolve complex issues
  • Build strong customer relationships through responsive, solution-oriented communication
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and long-term client retention

Requirements

Do you have experience in Troubleshooting electrical systems?, * Electromechanical Systems

  • Hands-on technical experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and email
  • Experience with CRM, ticketing, or remote support systems is a plus
