Job description
The Senior Salesforce Application Developer will play a key role in supporting the Salesforce platform on system integrations, security protocols, and support standards while providing technical leadership to other application developers. This person will also work closely with the internal Salesforce team to build new features within the Zions Salesforce environments and oversee and execute operational tasks and projects.

This person should also be excited about growing their skills as a Salesforce admin. We want someone who is committed to ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and corporation standards.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Provide technical leadership to the application developer team and other support personnel
- Plan and execute tasks and projects to improve operational service delivery, system security, and service availability
- Configure security and integration protocols for the Salesforce platform according to business and technical requirements.
- Generate reports that can be used to analyze system performance and service levels and identify problem areas for improvement
- Improve the system by completing user stories that involve no-code/low-code declarative development
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure optimal delivery of new features in Salesforce
- Provide support for the Salesforce helpdesk queue
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials related to Salesforce knowledge and support processes
- Participate in product delivery teams leveraging an Agile framework
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team supervision?, * 2-4 years of experience delivering no-code development in a Salesforce environment
- 4-6 years of experience as a Salesforce system administrator
- Demonstrated experience in a technical team lead role
- 'Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred, * No-code development expertise
- System administration and support experience
- Familiarity with security protocols, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of configuration management and change management.
- Ability to understand business requirements and perform tasks to meet acceptance criteria.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Waterfall
- Strong problem solving, analysis and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees to resolve problems and improve processes or systems.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends in support of operational releases
Preferred skills:
- Experience with Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms
- Salesforce certifications preferred, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or equivalents
- Experience with release management and development operations.
- Experience with Data Loader, Demand Tools, or Excel skills for transformation and loading large data sets
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
