SAP Commerce Technical Architect in Bridgewater

We are seeking an Elite Senior SAP Commerce Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery for an enterprise-scale digital commerce platform. Operating fully onsite out of Bridgewater, NJ, you will own the solution design across the full SAP Commerce stack, encompassing core platform capabilities, CCV2 cloud infrastructure, and headless architectures. This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of translating complex business requirements into highly scalable, secure, and maintainable global commerce solutions while governing engineering standards and mentoring distributed development teams., ️Architecture & Design: Define and own the end-to-end SAP Commerce architecture, optimizing performance, reliability, and extensibility across core, platform, cloud, and headless capabilities.

️Headless Ecosystem Leadership: Design robust headless commerce patterns using SAP Commerce OCC APIs to deliver modular front-end experiences and seamless integration with decoupled digital channels.

️Cloud & Platform Governance: Architect and govern SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) deployment strategies utilizing cloud- patterns for environment provisioning, CI/CD pipeline automation, and resilience.

️Enterprise System Integration: Guide the integration design between SAP Commerce and critical enterprise platforms (SAP S/4HANA/ECC, CRM, CMS, PIM, OMS, and third-party payment gateways) ensuring strict data consistency and observability.

️Quality & Performance Engineering: Establish coding standards and architectural frameworks; conduct strict peer code reviews, Solr search optimization, caching strategy implementation (Redis), and technical debt remediation.

️Technical Roadmap & Upgrades: Drive the long-term platform health strategy, managing technology roadmaps, platform upgrades, and major runtime updates (e.g., JDK migrations).

️Stakeholder & Team Mentorship: Act as the primary technical liaison for business stakeholders and architecture boards; provide hands-on technical mentorship to engineers to elevate delivery maturity.

️Java (JDK 11/17/21) & Spring Framework

️Headless Commerce Architecture & Composable Storefront (Spartacus) / Accelerator (JSP)

️OCC APIs, REST/SOAP Integration, and Microservices Patterns

️Solr Search Engine Optimization & Caching Strategies (Redis)

️CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) & Platform Engineering

️11-14 Years of Enterprise IT Experience

️SAP CX Ecosystem (CDC, Emarsys, CPQ)

️Enterprise PIM, OMS, and CMS Platform Integrations (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC)
