Job description

The IT Technician serves as the first point of contact for all IT-related support requests at the site, ensuring timely and effective technical assistance for both remote and onsite employees., * Serve as the initial contact for IT-related support requests and provide both remote and onsite technical assistance.

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for end users, including hardware, software, network, and account-related issues, among others.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows workstation, Microsoft 365, Teams, printer, and peripheral support requests.
  • Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, phones, and other IT equipment.
  • Respond to service tickets in a timely manner while documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, VPN access, and patching issues.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, software installs, updates, and device compliance checks.
  • Help maintain IT documentation, user guides, setup procedures, and support processes.
  • Administration of user and computer accounts.
  • Participates in supporting day-to-day operations, client issues, and service desk tickets and align with the IT Division work program.
  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee the IT asset deployment and retirement.
  • Advise HR for IT-related items and ensure IT documentation is up to date.
  • Identify IT performance, operation concerns, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in IT in corporate setting
  • Demonstrated ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, software, and assets.
  • Experience with a wide variety of software including Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, along with desktop computer operating systems, utilities, and business application software.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the requirements and schedule for the deployment and refresh of hardware and software throughout its lifecycle.
  • Excellent people, organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Exceptional project management, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with a wide range of people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Mandarin/English)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong ownership ability and previous project skills
  • Ability to read, write, and converse fluently in Mandarin and English to facilitate IT needs with international colleagues
