Job description
Design, develop, architect, and maintain secure networking and protocol software for reliable data exchange between systems Collaborate with stakeholders to define and review product security requirements Conduct performance analysis, testing, monitoring, and vulnerability assessments of networking software Support secure software development throughout the product lifecycle Research emerging networking technologies, protocols, and security trends Contribute to software project and supplier management activities Support the Ground Systems product team in developing advanced ground operating systems and infrastructure Work across multiple operating systems, including Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS, VXWorks, and ESXi Develop secure, self-contained, air-gapped, and WAN-connected systems
Requirements
Secret Clearance required prior to start Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience Experience with Linux deployment and administration, including Bash scripting and remote access Knowledge of networking, storage administration, and package management Understanding of virtualization concepts Experience with containerization and familiarity with Kubernetes Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements., Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related discipline Knowledge of communications and network systems, networking protocols, and secure communications Understanding of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, survivability, and secure system design Experience with software programming languages, databases, and systems integration Familiarity with networking technologies, simulation/modeling tools, and software development tools Knowledge of real-time systems, operating systems, and hardware/software integration Ability to derive, allocate, and trace requirements throughout the product lifecycle Experience with software architecture and design methodologies
