Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Cyber Systems Security Engineer. In this role you will:
- Design and develop cybersecurity solutions that span the entire system lifecycle, from initial planning to final validation.
- Conduct risk assessments, including threat modeling and vulnerability analysis, to evaluate and address potential security gaps.
- Collaborate with engineers and system architects to analyze and resolve cybersecurity trade-offs and system design constraints.
- Perform cybersecurity testing to validate that hardware and software designs meet security requirements.
- Employ proven cybersecurity methodologies, processes, and tools, ensuring consistent application across projects.
- Support assessment and authorization activities to ensure compliance with required cybersecurity standards.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Cyber Security Engineering; will consider Software Engineering

Experience Advanced programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell, Scripts), ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiar with full software development life cycle, and system engineering processes

Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems

Experience and/or knowledge of Patch Management systems.

Advanced knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate STIG, Trivy, SCAP or other cyber scanning tools

AI Experience Desired Skills:

Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework

Experience and/or knowledge of Agile Methodologies

DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)

Experience and/or knowledge of Patch Management systems.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
