Job description
Design, implement, and operate mission-critical networks across campus, data center, and cloud. You drive availability, security, and performance in a large, complex environment. You'll join a leading technology organization in Leuven with enterprise-scale infrastructure and high reliability demands. Hybrid culture in an international (English) context, working closely with security, infra, and project teams. We invest in modernization, standardization, and automation.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and operate campus, data center, and cloud networks. ️
- Deliver routing, switching, wireless, and firewall solutions.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents (L2-L7).
- Execute upgrades, migrations, standardization, and technology renewals.
- Contribute to infrastructure transformations and new site deployments.
- Improve automation, documentation, disaster recovery, and security controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years in enterprise networking.
- Strong routing & switching and wireless expertise.
- Hands-on monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Solid network security: segmentation, firewalling, access control, zero trust.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to haves
- Cloud networking experience.
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, AAA, NAC.
- Network automation (e.g., Ansible/Python).
- IT/OT exposure (Purdue, IEC 62443).
