Job description

The team is responsible for deploying and supporting internally developed applications across acceptance and production environments, as well as maintaining shared platforms and middleware. The position combines operational support, environment management, and infrastructure collaboration, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and continuity., * Manage daily operations: deploy, update, and support applications in acceptance & production environments (primarily Windows/IIS-based systems)

  • Contribute to the design and setup of application hosting environments
  • Support application server architecture decisions for new deployments
  • Perform 2nd-line troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Configure load balancing setups (e.g., virtual IPs for web applications)
  • Support and maintain shared technologies (e.g., messaging systems, caching solutions)
  • Contribute to Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) (definition, validation, execution)
  • Maintain technical documentation (installation, operations, procedures)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (primarily IT teams)
  • Interface with external vendors for advanced (3rd level) support
  • Participate in on-call support rotation

Requirements

  • Deployment, monitoring, log analysis, scripting
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server environments (2012-2022)
  • Solid experience with IIS administration and web deployments
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of:
  • Databases (e.g., SQL-based systems, NoSQL solutions)
  • Messaging / middleware platforms (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Network concepts (firewalls, load balancing)
  • DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
  • Awareness of security best practices (authentication, authorization, infrastructure security)

  • Work authorization and residency compliant with local regulations required for non-EU candidates
