Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI / ABAP Integration Expert to support a major organization in the public transportation sector on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This mission focuses on maintaining and optimizing the current SAP ECC environment while contributing to its progressive migration to S/4HANA, with a strong emphasis on integration via SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). You will contribute to the evolution of a complex SAP landscape by supporting current systems and helping redesign and implement future-ready integration architectures in a cloud-oriented environment., * SAP Development & Integration

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions
  • Adapt and upgrade existing developments as part of the ECC S/4HANA migration
  • Develop and integrate web services via SAP CPI Work with key SAP technologies (ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices

Integration & Interface Management

  • Manage and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems
  • Support integration based on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
  • Ensure performance, security, and reliability of integrations

Project Contribution

  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide workload estimates and support project planning
  • Participate in migration and transformation activities

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and resolve technical issues
  • Optimize system performance and integration architecture (BTP, interfaces, jobs, transports)
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Maintain awareness of SAP technology evolution

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP development
  • Strong expertise in SAP integrations via web services
  • Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration projects

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
  • Good understanding of integration architecture and SAP Cloud environments
  • Knowledge of SAP security (code and integration level)

Experience with:

  • Fiori /UI5OData & Gateway services
  • CDS Views
  • Web services
  • SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, interfaces
  • Strong architectural understanding
  • Experience in the public transportation domain is a plus

Profile

  • Degree in IT, engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
