Job description
We are seeking two experienced DSS & Networking Level 2 Engineers to join our team in Dortmund. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, managing IT and networking-related activities, and providing remote technical assistance to field technicians. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, networking expertise, and solid systems administration knowledge., Warehouse Operations
- Perform hardware staging, configuration, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Receive, inspect, inventory, and prepare IT equipment for deployment.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, stock levels, and equipment movement.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network devices where applicable.
- Support logistics and warehouse-related technical operations.
Technical Support
- Provide Level 2 technical support for DSS (Digital Support Services/Desktop Support Services) environments.
- Deliver remote support to field technicians and onsite engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Escalate complex incidents to appropriate teams while ensuring proper documentation.
- Monitor support queues and ensure timely incident resolution.
Networking & Infrastructure
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Configure and support switches, routers, wireless access points, and related network devices.
- Perform network testing and validation activities.
- Support network deployments, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with cabling, patching, and infrastructure documentation.
Systems Administration
- Support Windows-based environments and end-user computing devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests.
- Assist with Active Directory administration and basic server-related tasks.
- Perform software installations, updates, and system configurations.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Technical Skills
- Strong Level 2 Desktop Support (DSS) experience.
- Solid networking knowledge, including:
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- DHCP
- VLANs
- Switching and Routing fundamentals
- Wireless networking
- Good systems administration knowledge.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience supporting hardware devices, laptops, desktops, printers, and network equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices
