Firebee Filing Analytics is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Lead Financial Data Analyst to join our growing team in Bilbao. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels at transforming complex financial data into actionable business insights and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.
As a Lead Financial Data Analyst, you will oversee financial reporting, develop analytical models, identify trends and opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and executive leadership teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Design and improve data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal standards.
- Mentor and support junior analysts and contribute to team development.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience working with large-scale financial databases and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and data visualization best practices.
