Java Developer - Remote

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a high-profile government project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to large-scale, secure, and impactful digital services used nationwide.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office for key meetings or collaboration sessions., * Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications

• Work on scalable microservices and distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, architects, and product owners
• Contribute to cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery

• Strong commercial experience with Java (Java 8+)
• Proven experience working on government/public sector projects
• Solid understanding of AWS services (eg, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS)
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Spring Boot/Spring Framework
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (eg, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of security and compliance in government systems
• Active or previous security clearance (SC/DV)
