Job description

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for NFC hardware and firmware, ensuring rigorous validation across features and interfaces.
  • Execute functional, regression, stress, and validation tests to verify product performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues at PCB, component, and system levels; produce clear defect reports.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to verify solutions, evaluate revisions, and improve product robustness.
  • Design, build, and optimise hardware test jigs, fixtures, and automated testing rigs to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Support integration of automated testing systems into manufacturing processes and improve existing test equipment.
  • Test and evaluate new components, prototype circuits, and perform qualification assessments of suppliers.
  • Assist in ensuring products meet certification requirements, supporting certification activities and documentation prep.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis, process improvements, and maintain accurate testing documentation and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hardware QA, electronics testing, or embedded systems validation.
  • Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals, PCB troubleshooting, and circuit schematics.
  • Fluent in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Experience validating firmware-driven hardware products and performing detailed defect analysis.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and structured documentation abilities.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating across hardware, firmware, and production functions.
