Job description
- Coordinate software release cycles across customer platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and assist in improving automation and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues for internal teams and external clients.
- Maintain test environments including integration, performance, and deployment testing setups.
- Manage internal development and testing servers including Windows, Linux, and SQL Server environments.
- Monitor hosted, internal, and cloud solutions and respond to alerts or incidents.
- Maintain accurate configuration records including customer details, software versions, and hardware setups.
- Handle support tickets within agreed SLAs, owning issues through to resolution or escalation.
- Maintain technical documentation for release processes, configurations, and environment setups.
- Follow change management procedures and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline deployments and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Support, Engineering, and Project Management to ensure release readiness and resolve issues.
- Perform occasional out-of-hours deployments as required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VPN?, The primary focus of this position is to support the business with the release of software to customers. You will maintain the availability of hosted, internal and cloud systems within agreed SLA's. As the initial point of contact for Customer help desk tickets, telephone support and the recipient of alerts raised by automated monitoring systems, this role is pivotal to the continued success of the organisation. It therefore requires a self-motivated team member, with logical mindset, good interpersonal skills, and sound general knowledge of IT and the internet., * Exposure to CI/CD, version control (Git), and basic scripting or programming.
- Experience with Windows Client/Server, Linux environments, and SQL Server (desirable).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs).
- Experience working in SLA-driven environments and handling multiple priorities.
Skills & Aptitudes
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of Office 365 and general computer literacy.
- Ability to work methodically, follow procedures, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks independently.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Curious, willing to learn, and open to adopting new tools and practices.
