Job description
The EHR Specialist strives to meet the organizations goals of maintaining clinical systems and providing a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes, reduces costs, increases efficiency and enhances patients' experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with maintenance of EHR/CPS (as well as third-party systems, i.e. patient portal, e-prescribing, lab interface, etc.).
- Collaborate with senior staff, clinicians, and end users to design, build, test, train, implement, and evaluate all clinical software applications.
- Provide support to staff who use clinical information system(s).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as well as software modifications and enhancements
- Maintain current knowledge of the systems and applications through: attending training courses, reading information available in product announcements, participating in system updates, and subscribing to vendor web sites.
- Build good working relationships and maintain a continuous interface with customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisor and utilizes these relationships to resolve issues and problems and explore opportunities.
- Provide training to clinical staff and user clients on EHR and other third party clinical systems
- Develop and utilize training manuals and programs to keep the end-users at the highest level of knowledge on the functionality of the system.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Employee relationship building?, * Experience in problem analysis and testing with an emphasis in healthcare applications
- Background in Healthcare Operations, Clinical Operations, Nursing and/or Physician Workflow
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Clinical EHR Implementation and training experience (preferred)
- SQL Server Management studio (preferred)
- Ability to work fully in-office
