Job description

The Technical Sales Support Coordinator provides critical support to the sales organization by reviewing and refining quotations, bids, and proposals for technical accuracy and completeness. This role serves as a key liaison between sales, technical experts, and customers, ensuring that pricing, configurations, and documentation are accurate and aligned with business and technical requirements. The coordinator also supports and troubleshoots SAP CRM and SAP R/3 modules, maintains sales tools and resources, and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication and service., * Review quotation requests, bids, and proposals for technical feasibility, business considerations, and hardware and software capabilities, revising quotes as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Evaluate proposals and preliminary quotations generated by the sales team for accuracy and technical completeness, and update them as needed.
  • Ensure appropriate discounts are correctly applied to quotation documents in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and support for SAP CRM and SAP R/3 modules to facilitate accurate quoting and sales processes.
  • Contact subject matter experts and coordinate the creation of customer-specific price lists upon request.
  • Update, maintain, and train US personnel on the field-based quoting tool to ensure consistent and effective usage.
  • Participate in the Customer Touch Points Program by emailing order acknowledgement letters and coordinating liquid handling site survey communications.
  • Maintain territory-related spreadsheets and maps for the US sales force to support territory management and planning.
  • Follow up with sales representatives and customers to provide ongoing dialogue and timely responses regarding quotation requests, proposals, and bids in process.
  • Submit completed CER forms when required to support the technical feasibility assessment of specific quotation documents or proposals.
  • Teach and instruct team members on processes, tools, and procedures to promote consistency and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Compile, maintain, and communicate sales-related information so that the team has current and accurate resources readily available.
  • Serve as an escalation point for both internal and external inquiries prior to management involvement, resolving issues when possible.
  • Participate in front desk phone coverage rotation as needed, providing professional and courteous phone support.
  • Deliver strong customer service by responding promptly, professionally, and accurately to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle essential tasks as assigned and respond effectively to changing priorities and support needs., * Experience supporting sales teams with quotations, bids, and proposals is beneficial., This is an on-site role in a professional office environment. You will work closely with sales representatives, technical experts, and other internal teams, frequently using business systems such as SAP CRM and SAP R/3 as well as field-based quoting tools, spreadsheets, and territory maps. The position may involve participating in a front desk phone coverage rotation, requiring professional phone etiquette and a customer-focused approach. The work setting supports collaboration, clear communication, and a strong team-oriented culture, with an expectation of professionalism in conduct and appearance.
