Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Analyst to help protect and strengthen our organization's security posture. In this role, you will monitor and respond to cybersecurity events, support detection engineering efforts, assist with access governance activities, and contribute to ongoing threat identification initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical skills, and can operate effectively within a continuous operations model., * Oversee and analyze security events and alerts generated through SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Investigate, assess, and triage potential security incidents within a 24/7/365 on-call operational environment.
- Assist in the upkeep, optimization, and fine-tuning of SIEM and SOAR detection content, including correlation rules and automated response playbooks.
- Participate in proactive threat hunting activities by leveraging behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and AI-enabled security tools.
- Conduct periodic user access reviews and support IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance testing and related audit activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with security monitoring and incident response tools, including SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud security monitoring in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Understanding of incident investigation, alert triage, and response workflows.
- Exposure to threat hunting methodologies and behavioral analytics tools.
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, access review processes, and ITGC support.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rotating or on-call environment., * Experience supporting security automation and response playbook development.
- Familiarity with compliance and audit support activities.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GCIA, or similar.
