The Senior Data Warehouse Specialist / ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and data integration solutions to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across large-scale systems. This position supports an upcoming project with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This role ensures high-quality, secure, and performant data processing aligned with federal standards, data governance policies, and industry best practices., * Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration from multiple source systems
- Build and enhance data warehouses, data marts, and analytics platforms
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Optimize SQL queries, ETL jobs, and data processing performance
- Support data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and metadata management
- Develop and maintain data integration workflows and automation processes
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and testing (unit, integration, performance, data quality)
- Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, business analysts, and QA teams
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes/enhancements
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
- Contribute to documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer activities
- Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * Strong expertise in ETL/ELT tools (Databricks, DataStage, SSIS, AWS Glue, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and database development
- Experience with data warehouse architecture and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks, Redshift, S3)
- Knowledge of database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M or equivalent)
- Experience in data quality, governance, and metadata management
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of federal security and compliance standards (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
