Job description
The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for coordinating e-commerce activities to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation. This role will lead the day-to-day execution of the e-commerce business and online sales strategy. This position reports to the Director of Ecommerce., * Assist in achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales and marketing of the brand's Amazon or other marketplace channel presence
- Implement a strategic sales plan that expands the account's customer base
- Collaborate with marketing teams on traffic drivers
- Monitor performance indicators to achieve monthly targets and goals
- Drive execution of sales planning with focus on revenue
- Weekly and monthly analysis of key brand, ad and traffic-driving efforts for optimization
- Conceive, design, analyze and optimize creative marketing and sales promotions that drive traffic and revenue from start to finish
- Assist expansion into additional global markets with select clients
- Own the online drive time calendar
- Vet new digital marketing opportunities to expand into
- Manage the online brand identity, image, and content delivery across marketplace channels
- Produce clear and detailed creative briefs, analytics and sales reports
- On-site merchandising for client product pages, storefront and ads
- Online collateral management for external partners
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Up to 5 years of relevant work experience in consumer marketing (online), site merchandising
- Demonstrated experience using marketing metrics to drive business decisions
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
- High degree of familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central
- Experience with Walmart.com, Target.com, Ebay, and other ecommerce marketplace channels is preferred
- Background in strategic planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great creativity
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Tech-savvy with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products; working knowledge of Adobe suite or Canva is desirable
- Working knowledge or experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and other social advertising platforms highly desirable
