Job description
A well-established organization is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce System Administrator to support and enhance a complex Salesforce environment. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for system configuration, ongoing enhancements, and backlog management.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while maintaining high standards of system reliability, quality, and performance., * Configure, maintain, and enhance Salesforce functionality
- Improve automation, data processes, and system reliability
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design scalable, maintainable declarative solutions
- Translate business requirements into effective Salesforce configurations
- Manage projects from intake through delivery with strong ownership
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, data, and marketing
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders
- Support expansion of Salesforce use cases
Data Management & Quality
- Maintain data integrity through deduplication and data hygiene practices
- Utilize tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and DemandTools
Documentation & Release Management
- Maintain system documentation and process records
- Participate in release cycles and deployments (occasional after-hours work)
General Duties
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience in a production environment
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud (Service Cloud preferred)
- Expertise in declarative Salesforce development (flows, automation, reports, dashboards)
- Experience with data modeling and maintaining data integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, * Experience in higher education, admissions, or recruitment environments
- Experience supporting large Salesforce user bases (500+ users)
- Familiarity with data, analytics, or marketing teams within Salesforce ecosystems
- Basic knowledge of SOQL, Apex, or Lightning Components
- Experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations or system expansions
Benefits & conditions
- Hybrid role (3 days onsite per week required)
- Standard hours: Monday-Friday, within 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- No on-call requirements
- Occasional after-hours work for system releases or deployments
