Job description
- Lead end-to-end solution development: architecture, prototyping, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, SCADA systems, asset management tools)
- Develop intelligent copilots, automation frameworks, and agent-based solutions for operational use cases
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in utilities/gas operations to identify high-value AI opportunities
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of deployed AI solutions
- Mentor teams and contribute to AI best practices within the organization
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and apply them to real-world industry challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and/or AI Foundry
- Proven track record of deploying at least one Copilot Studio or AI Foundry solution into production
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience working with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar integration frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to build and operationalize AI/ML or generative AI solutions at scale
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in utilities, energy, or gas industry environments
- Knowledge of field operations, asset management, or regulatory requirements within utilities
- Experience building conversational AI, copilots, or autonomous agents
- Familiarity with data pipelines, orchestration tools, and real-time data processing
- Experience with Azure AI services and enterprise AI governance
