We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technology team! In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, supporting our IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless computer and network operations across the organization. Your expertise will help empower employees to work efficiently and confidently with their devices, software, and network systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment., * Provide technical support to end-users via help desk platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Configure and support computer networking components such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and Meraki network devices
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and perform user account management tasks
- Support IT infrastructure including server management using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and monitor network performance for optimal operation
- Assist with security measures including firewall configurations, VPN access management, and network security protocols to safeguard organizational data
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience providing IT support in a corporate or enterprise environment with a strong understanding of desktop support and help desk operations
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPNs, firewalls, and network administration tools like Meraki appliances
- Familiarity with managing computer hardware components and performing software troubleshooting steps efficiently
- Experience working with IT management tools such as SCCM for software deployment and updates; Active Directory for user management; GPO for policy enforcement; BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for ticketing systems; Jira for issue tracking
- Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately while maintaining excellent customer service skills to communicate solutions clearly to end-users
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills and teamwork
