Job description

As a Test Engineer on our Space Force-centric teams, you'll use your experience to work with developers and engineers to evaluate software developed for national defense. You'll create test plans with test cases based on user stories and requirements. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test analysis?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 3+ years of experience in developmental testing

  • Strong requirements synthesis, development, and requirements traceability skills.
  • Core competency with software scripting
  • Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and traceability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test method and success criteria
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience architecting complex systems in Model-Based Systems Engineering, including CAMEO or Rhapsody
  • Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.87 and 5000.89
  • Ability to develop and execute detailed test procedures for Developmental and Operational Test Events
  • Ability to build automated test scripts and custom harnesses using a tool such as a Python or Cypress

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence or Jira
  • Experience with radar system operations or radar modeling
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience interfacing with formal government test organizations, including 17TES or JITC
  • Knowledge of software deployment and troubleshooting processes in DevSecOps pipelines, including Platform 1 or DAFCw
  • Ability to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Security+ Certification
  • Docker or Kubernetes Certification

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • US Citizen
  • Secret Clearance
