Job description
We're seeking a talented Data Skill Builder to join our Supply Chain Data Team. You'll work closely with architects and business stakeholders to build robust data pipelines and compelling analytics that drive supply chain optimization. If you're passionate about turning raw data into business value and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact., * Data Extraction & Integration: Extract data from multiple enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, planning tools) and third-party sources; design and build reliable data pipelines that consolidate information into unified datasets
-
Data Analysis & Transformation: Perform exploratory data analysis, identify data quality issues, and transform raw data into clean, structured formats ready for analytics and modeling
-
Analytics Development: Develop analytical queries, dashboards, and reports that surface key insights; translate business questions into data-driven answers
-
Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) that communicate complex data stories to business stakeholders in clear, actionable ways
-
Collaboration with Architects: Work closely with Solution Architects to understand technical requirements; implement data solutions according to architectural specifications and best practices
-
Data Quality & Governance: Implement data validation checks, monitor data quality, and maintain documentation; ensure data consistency and reliability across systems
-
Continuous Learning: Stay current with data engineering tools, analytics techniques, and emerging technologies; contribute ideas for improving data processes and methodologies
Requirements
-
Data Engineering Fundamentals: 3+ years of hands-on experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with SQL and relational/non-relational databases
-
Programming Proficiency: Strong experience with Python, SQL, or similar languages; ability to write clean, maintainable code and debug technical issues independently
-
Analytics & Visualization: Demonstrated expertise with analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and statistical analysis; ability to translate data into compelling visual narratives
-
Cloud & Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, or big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop)
-
Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical thinking; ability to break down complex data challenges and find practical solutions with minimal guidance
-
Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; comfortable presenting findings and collaborating across teams
-
Passion for Data: Genuine curiosity about data; track record of delivering data projects that drove measurable business insights or operational improvements
Primary Focus: Data Excellence Over Platform Specificity
While familiarity with Aera Technology is a nice-to-have, data engineering and analytics expertise is what matters most. We value professionals who:
-
Prioritize data quality, pipeline reliability, and analytical rigor above platform-specific knowledge
-
Can quickly learn new tools and platforms as business needs evolve
-
Understand when to build custom solutions vs. leverage existing platforms
-
Bring deep experience with core data technologies: Python, SQL, cloud data warehouses, BI tools, and ML frameworks
