Principal Data Analyst

About the Role Principal Data Analyst partnering with game teams to shape product strategy, drive data-informed decisions, and elevate analytics across Zynga. Key Responsibilities Develop data-driven strategies influencing product roadmaps, features, and monetization. Analyze player behavior, game economy trends, and product performance with cross-functional teams. Design A/B tests and build predictive models (churn, LTV, segmentation). Mentor analysts and present insights to senior leadership through storytelling and dashboards. Collaborate to improve data tools, pipelines, and experimentation practices. Requirements Experience in analytics or data science, ideally in gaming or digital products. Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis. Strong background in experimentation/A/B testing and applied statistics (Bayesian a plus). Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker. Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing skills; mentoring experience preferred.
