Data Engineer ETL/Streaming (M/F)

As part of a strategic Proof of Concept to be launched this summer, you will join a data team to implement and validate a data processing platform focused on ETL/ELT and streaming. This PoC is intended to evolve into a long-term project (full time) starting next year. You will contribute to the design, development, and industrialization of data pipelines, with a strong focus on real-time ingestion and data replication. The technical environment leverages IBM solutions (Watsonx Data Integration, DataStage, Data Replication), streaming technologies like Kafka, and modern data platforms such as Cloudera (Hive, Kafka). The position involves an international and collaborative context, with regular interactions during workshops, testing phases, and deliveries. Do you have experience in Oracle?, * Significant experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL / ELT

• Proficiency with IBM DataStage and/or IBM Watsonx Data Integration
• Knowledge of data replication / Change Data Capture (CDC)
• Experience with Kafka and streaming data architectures
• Good understanding of databases like DB2, Oracle, SQL Server
• Experience with Cloudera Data Platform environments, specifically Hive and Kafka
• Familiarity with modern data formats, ideally Iceberg
• Ability to design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines
• Good understanding of data performance, quality, and governance challenges
• Ability to work in an Agile and collaborative environment
• Autonomy, analytical mindset, and ability to contribute to an evolving PoC
