ICT Specialist

As an ICT Specialist, you are responsible for designing, building, and testing various IT systems. These systems are deployed on ships, yachts, and in luxury homes and hotels. You are also responsible for providing service for such systems when necessary. Strong analytical skills are important in this regard. You will also visit the ships on location several times a year. This will occur between 2 and 8 times a year. You have a broad orientation towards IT solutions and are skilled in various areas. Our IT systems are used, among other things, for the operation of the yacht. An important additional function of our IT systems is that they are used as infrastructure for audio & video distribution, communication, and security systems. What is expected of you? The business unit Experience, based in Zaandam, operates under the brand name Marpower eXperience. Marpower eXperience supplies high-quality systems to the shipbuilding industry, including yacht building, as well as to hotels, luxury homes, and apartments. • A bachelor or master degree in technical informatics or similar;
• At least five years of experience in ICT;
• The following qualities are considered a plus:
• CISCO (CCNA, CCNP) and/or Cybersecurity certified
• Familiar with VOIP (CISCO and Grandstream), VMWARE, NAC, CISCO ISE
• Knowledge of audio and video streaming protocols in a network environment
• Experience with scripting
