We are committed to creating opportunities to improve the lives of individuals now and in future generations., The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing data and producing reports to support our corporate services and operational teams.
About the Role
To support the organisation's data, reporting and insight function by collecting, processing and presenting data that informs service delivery, compliance and continuous improvement across education, care and support services.
This entry-level role is designed to build capability in data analysis, reporting and systems use, contributing to high-quality, accurate and timely information that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing
· Support the collection of data from internal systems, surveys and operational teams.
· Undertake data cleaning, validation and basic transformation to ensure accuracy.
· Maintain datasets in line with agreed standards and processes.
- Reporting & Insight
· Assist in producing regular reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Excel).
· Support the development and maintenance of performance metrics and KPIs.
· Identify simple trends and patterns to support service improvement.
- Systems & User Support
· Provide first-line support to data system users via helpdesk (e.g. Power BI, third party software, data requests or general helpdesk queries).
· Assist with user access, permissions and basic troubleshooting.
· Support testing and rollout of new reports and system updates.
- Data Quality & Governance
· Follow data quality standards, checking for accuracy and completeness.
· Support routine data audits and validation checks.
· Work in line with GDPR, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
- Team & Organisational Support
· Work with colleagues across services to understand data requirements.
· Contribute to data-driven projects and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We have an opportunity to join us as a Junior Data Analyst. We are seeking an exceptional person who is self-motivated, solutions-driven and aligned with Linkage's missions and values., Our values act as a guiding principles; Independence, Honesty, Respect and Teamwork. Its important that our colleagues can demonstrate these in all that they do., · Educated to Level 3 (e.g. A-Levels, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
· Relevant short courses or certifications in data, IT or analytics (desirable).
Desirable Skills & Experience
· Experience of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
· Knowledge of SQL or other data tools.
· Experience working with administrative or operational data.
· Understanding of social care, education or regulated environments.
· Proactive and positive approach to learning.
· High level of integrity and respect for confidential information.
· Interest in using data to improve services and outcomes., * Bachelor's (required)
