Job description

The OIC Engineer/Admin/Architect in an APS (Application Production Support / Application Platform Services) environment is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Integration Cloud integrations, including platform administration, integration development, solution architecture, and production support (run + build ownership).

This role is hybrid in nature-combining hands-on engineering, OIC administration, and architecture leadership to ensure stable, secure, and scalable enterprise integrations across Oracle SaaS and third-party systems., 1. OIC Administration (Run / Platform Ownership)

  • Manage Oracle Integration Cloud environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).
  • Monitor integration health, failures, and system performance.
  • Manage OIC connectivity agents, certificates, and network connectivity.
  • Handle user access, roles, security policies, and tenant configuration.
  • Coordinate patching, upgrades, and environment refresh activities.
  • Support CI/CD deployments, migration, and release management.
  • Ensure observability using OIC dashboards and logs.
  1. Architecture & Solution Design
  • Define enterprise integration architecture using OIC.
  • Design API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration patterns.
  • Establish reusable frameworks, templates, and standards.
  • Define security architecture (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, SSO).
  • Lead architecture reviews and design governance.
  • Modernize legacy integrations into scalable cloud-native solutions.
  • Align integration strategy with enterprise architecture and cloud roadmap.
  1. Collaboration & Governance
  • Work with ERP/HCM/SCM functional and technical teams.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and cloud engineering teams.
  • Support business stakeholders during critical releases and outages.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
  • Drive integration best practices and governance standards.
  • Ensure all system configurations and data handling meet SOX complainance, security standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Xpath?, * Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - hands-on development + administration

  • Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud / HCM Cloud / SCM Cloud /EDM /EPM
  • REST / SOAP Web Services
  • XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath
  • SQL / database integration
  • OIC Connectivity Agent setup and troubleshooting
  • Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL)
  • CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong debugging, RCA, and performance tuning skills
  • Deep understanding of:
  • API-led architecture
  • Middleware and integration patterns
  • Data transformation and orchestration
  • Ability to operate at both strategic (architecture) and hands-on (execution) levels

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) from communication and networking perspective to establish communication with resources within OCI network and resources outside OCI network.
  • Certifications: Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OIC) certification.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high visibility with stakeholders through clear documentation and communication.
  • Utility Experience.
