Job description
You'll join our consulting team as a Consultant (Triade's career-path level, mid-level / Pleno in the Brazilian market). The role centers on two named focus areas, with a third woven into everyday delivery:
-
System Integration (primary, day 1) - batch, mini-batch, real-time, and CDC pipelines between client systems, SaaS platforms, and warehouses.
-
MDM Systems (grow into) - match-merge, survivorship, golden records, hierarchies, reference data. You don't need MDM experience day 1; you do need willingness to go deep here.
-
Consumption & app surfacing (always part of the role) - modeling for analytics, semantic layers, dashboards, and the small apps/UIs that surface data to end users. Not a separate "third specialization" - just part of how Triade delivers.
-
Data Engineering is the through-line (every engagement) - you're a data engineer here, even when the title says Consultant. That means designing models (3NF, star schema, MDM-style - pick the right one for the case), building the transformation layer (Snowflake / Databricks / dbt or vendor-native), defining data quality rules in-pipeline, and owning end-to-end SLAs. We don't separate "the integrator" from "the modeler" from "the engineer" - that's all you.
About the day-to-day - what we actually hire for
We hire system analysts and architects, not coders. In 2026, writing code is commoditizing fast - AI assistants ship the boilerplate, transcribe the spec, fix the syntax, refactor the mapping. The work that's left, and the work that's durable, is the part AI can't do for you yet: reading a vague business problem, designing the right solution, choosing the tradeoffs, and owning the result end-to-end.
That means: you pick batch vs. mini-batch vs. real-time based on the use case, not on what's familiar. You see when a model needs 3NF vs. star schema vs. MDM-style and why. You catch the data-quality problem two engagements before it shows up in production. The code you write - Informatica, SQL, the occasional Python - is downstream of that thinking, accelerated by AI.
If you want a role where someone hands you a finished spec and you translate it into Informatica, this isn't it. If you want to architect the solution, defend the tradeoffs, and ship it end-to-end, you're in the right place.
What you'll do
Solution Implementation & Delivery
- Design, build, test, and deploy integration solutions on client engagements.
- Build pipelines across timing modes - batch, mini-batch, real-time, CDC - using Informatica (PowerCenter, PowerExchange, IDMC: CDI, CDQ, CMI/Mass Ingestion, CAI) and MuleSoft.
- Implement and optimize both on-premises and SaaS solutions.
- Apply vendor best practices; contribute to solution architecture under senior guidance.
Data Modeling & Management
- Design models for the use case - 3NF for transactional, star schema for analytical, MDM-style for master data.
- Implement MDM patterns - match-merge, survivorship, golden records, hierarchies, reference data.
- Apply data governance, quality, and security frameworks.
- Build the consumption layer when engagements call for it - dbt models, semantic layers, dashboards, lightweight apps (Streamlit, React, internal tools).
Performance & Reliability
- Tune pipelines and queries - query plans, indexing, partitioning, monitoring.
- Manage upgrades, configuration, and baseline implementations.
Documentation, Knowledge Transfer & Client Engagement
- Author technical documentation, run KT sessions, lead small client workshops.
- Handle direct client interactions, contribute to proposal content, mentor Trainees and Juniors.
Presentations, Demos & POCs
- Build slide decks that translate technical wins into business outcomes.
- Own end-to-end demonstrations - set up the data, configure the tools, rehearse and run the live story.
- Support Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements as the technical owner: scope the build, ship it on a tight clock, present the results, defend the design choices.
- Present to mixed audiences - engineering peers, business stakeholders, executive sponsors.
Critical Thinking & AI Usage (hard requirement, not optional)
- Translate vague client problems into concrete technical solutions - not just code from specs handed to you.
- Use AI assistants (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) effectively in daily delivery. We expect you to know how to prompt, when to trust, when to verify, and how to compound AI into your throughput.
The stack
Products you'll work with daily (or be ready to learn fast):
- Informatica IDMC - CDI, CDQ, CMI/Mass Ingestion, CAI
- Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Data Quality (still in client environments under migration)
- Informatica MDM and MDM SaaS
- MuleSoft - Triade is expanding here
- SQL - advanced
Coming into the Triade pipeline - be ready to learn and use:
- SparkSQL on Databricks and Snowflake
- IaC - Terraform, ARM templates - for environment provisioning
- Scripting and programming - Python, shell - at the level of utility scripts, API glue, AI-assisted tooling
- Modern transformation stack - dbt, Airflow
Horizon / curiosity sparks welcome:
- Salesforce ecosystem - Data Cloud, MDM, Governance - emerging as a growth area for Triade
- Kafka, Iceberg, Delta Lake - streaming and lakehouse formats
- CDC tooling (Debezium, AWS DMS)
- Cloud-native data services across AWS, Azure, GCP, * Contracting: Through Triade USA LLC or its associated entities in MX or BR. Monthly invoices; payment via national or international wire or Wise (5-10 business days post-approval). Tax obligations sit with the contractor.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System design?, An enterprise data integration role at Triade · 3-5 years · Brazil-based · USD via Triade USA LLC, * 3-5 years of hands-on data integration, data quality, or data warehouse work.
- Production experience with Informatica IDMC (CDI / CAI / CDQ). Background in PowerCenter is welcome.
- Strong SQL - window functions, performance tuning, complex joins, set logic.
- Modeling fundamentals - OLTP normalization, star schema; comfort learning MDM-style modeling.
- Architect mentality - you take a fuzzy problem and shape a solution; you defend tradeoffs with evidence rather than waiting for a spec to materialize.
- Presentation and demo craft - build slide decks, tell a technical story, and run end-to-end live demos / POCs / POVs for mixed audiences (engineering, business, executive).
- AI-assistant fluency - Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor in your daily workflow.
- Curiosity and learning posture - willingness to pick up SparkSQL, IaC, scripting, and the Salesforce ecosystem as Triade grows into them.
- English - professional working proficiency (client meetings, written deliverables).
- Portuguese - native or fluent.
- Spanish - willingness to learn (you'll work with Mexican clients regularly); already conversational is a strong plus.
Nice to have
- IDMC certifications (CDI Specialist, CAI, CDQ).
- Hands-on Informatica MDM or MDM SaaS.
- MuleSoft certifications or production integration work.
- Cloud certification - AWS, Azure, or GCP (Associate level or above).
- Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, or Delta Lake / Iceberg exposure.
- dbt, Airflow, or modern transformation stack.
- Salesforce Data Cloud, MDM, or Governance exposure.
- BI tool experience - Power BI, Tableau, Looker., * Engagement: Full-time, 1-year term with automatic extensions unless either party gives written notice.
- Location: Remote from Brazil. Occasional travel to client sites or Triade meetings.
- Clients: US, Mexico, and Brazil. Most interaction across English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
