Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team at the forefront of Agentic AI adoption within semiconductor design and verification workflows. The team is building intelligent AI-driven systems that help engineers analyze complex test failures, automate troubleshooting, and accelerate chip development processes.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, tool-calling workflows, and LLM-integrated applications. This role is highly visible and will help shape the direction of the team's AI strategy from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI applications using modern orchestration frameworks and LLM technologies
- Build multi-step reasoning pipelines, tool-calling agents, and AI-driven automation workflows
- Develop software solutions in Python, Go, Linux shell scripting, and related technologies
- Integrate AI capabilities with internal engineering tools, workflows, and data sources
- Collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and semiconductor design teams to solve complex technical challenges
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, software build systems, and automation frameworks
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in peer reviews
- Help guide technical direction and best practices for emerging AI initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong production-level Python development experience
- Strong Linux and shell scripting expertise
- Hands-on experience building Agentic AI systems, LLM applications, or AI orchestration frameworks
- Experience with tools such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar technologies
- Experience designing tool-use pipelines, agent workflows, and AI-enabled automation
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD environments
- Understanding of software build systems and GNU Make
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Go or Perl development experience
- Experience working with open-source and commercial LLMs
- Experience with on-prem AI deployments
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Familiarity with RTL, Verilog, EDA tools, Synopsys, or Cadence environments
- OpenShift, Kubernetes, or infrastructure automation experience
