Job description

Seeking a Principal Software Architect with 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years as a Principal Engineer or Software Architect. The ideal candidate will have experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Healthcare Technology, or Industrial IoT and be comfortable leading architecture strategy while remaining hands-on technically., * Define and drive architecture for multi-tier platforms, including on-device software, cloud applications, and SaaS solutions.

  • Lead code reviews, design reviews, and mentor engineering teams across C++, C#, .NET, Node.js, and React.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Modernize legacy applications, including ASP.NET MVC/AngularJS migrations to React.
  • Architect secure REST APIs and Azure/AWS hybrid cloud environments.
  • Establish architecture governance through HLDs, LLDs, ADRs, technical standards, and interface contracts.
  • Drive security-by-design initiatives, including identity management, encryption, secrets management, TLS/SSL, and secure software delivery.
  • Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience; 4+ years in an Architect or Principal Engineer role.
  • Strong expertise in C++, C#, .NET Framework (MVC, Web API, WCF, Web Forms), Node.js, and React.
  • Experience with Azure AD, MSAL, JWT authentication, and enterprise IAM.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server architecture, database design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with IIS, PowerShell, TLS/SSL certificates, and platform security.
  • Hands-on Azure and AWS cloud experience.
  • Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps, application modernization, and cloud migration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Industry Experience: Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare Technology, or Industrial IoT.
