Job description
- Assist to PD handover meeting with design and support constructive conversation, proactively offering suggestions for improved construction, aesthetics, and manufacturing enhancements.
- Creating, for each product, a Technical Pack (add sketches, artworks, etc.) and a Bill of Material (BOM), and update the same from Proto, SMS and bulk production.
- Delivering TP to VF Regional Souring teams and assist PD to coordinate with them the delivering of proto, SMS, PPS to the HQ, in time as per brand calendar.
- Proving guidance to deliver cost targets aligned with style details and related construction to Regional Offices and you and PD being accountable to meet style FOB targets.
- Plan and track development schedule of all products to ensure timely completion.
- Receive and evaluate samples and execute all development changes discussed during proto review and fit session.
- Approval strike offs, mock-ups and graphic submission when requested.
- Close communication with regional offices and buying offices to ensure a correct and on time product outcome.
- Assist and support fitting session along with PD, designer, and pattern maker technicians, ensuring execution of fit intent and fit standards.
- Interacts with all brand's depts, Raw material sourcing, Pattern maker, Design, Factories/Vendors, and other cross-functional team.
- Proactive approach to sustainable solutions.
Requirements
PERSONAL PROFILE

1 years' experience in product development in a medium or large sized apparel company

Basic knowledge in garment construction.

Basic knowledge of product category, product materials, manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle

Ability to create trust with cross functional teams working tightly in team.

Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and show curiosity for product and innovation.

Able to proactively troubleshoot and solve problems.

Deadline driven and organized mindset.

Proficient PC skills (MS package, Adobe Illustrator) and PLM systems, 3D cads.

Good communication skills (oral and written)

Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must.
An education and subsequent University Bachelor or master's degree in design (Apparel), Engineering, Manufacturing are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
