Job description

Take prototypes (Next.js, React, sometimes raw HTML/CSS/JS, sometimes Python) and turn them into proper products. Design and build agentic systems: multi-agent architectures, prompt orchestration, tool use, structured outputs, evals, observability. Make architectural calls I cannot make alone. Set up infrastructure that does not break: hosting, databases, auth, CMS, deployment, monitoring, agent runtimes. Build, ship, iterate. Push back when my approach is wrong.

Requirements

You are a mid-to-senior Full Stack, Frontend, or Backend Developer who can ship a real product end to end without hand-holding, comfortable with modern frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind) and at least one backend stack. Or you are an Agentic Systems / AI Engineer who has built real things with LLMs beyond chat wrappers, with a working grasp of prompt design, tool use, structured outputs, agent loops, retrieval, and how to make agentic systems behave reliably in production. Bonus: experience with MCP, Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, or similar. Some combination of both is welcome.

In all cases: self-directed, comfortable with headless CMS and Vercel or Hetzner-style deployment, interested in cultural and creative work or at least curious about it, Berlin-based or remote with European-hours overlap.

STACK AND TOOLING Open. We have built prototypes in a particular stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Sanity, Vercel, Supabase, Hetzner, plus an AI layer around Claude Code, the Agent SDK, MCP, and custom agents), but we built it as non-developers using AI. Nothing about the stack is sacred. You bring your stack opinions. We choose what fits each product, and rebuild the prototypes properly where it makes sense.

Benefits & conditions

Co-build products with S/E-STUDIO Berlin & System Error

We build products fast with AI. We need someone who can help finish them properly.

We are a Berlin-based cultural entrepreneurship company & ecosystem running labels, a magazine, creative studio, agency work, and physical space concepts in development. The digital side keeps growing: community platforms, editorial infrastructure, internal tooling, standalone product ideas, and a growing layer of autonomous workflows and AI agents that run the operational side of the ecosystem.

We prototype quickly using Claude Code and modern AI tooling. The bottleneck is turning prototypes into production-grade products. That is where you come in!

READ THIS PART CAREFULLY This is a collaboration, not a paid role. No salary, no fixed hours, no employment contract. In return for your time and skill, you take a real stake in the products we ship together. Structure is negotiated per product and reflects your contribution: equity, revenue share, co-founder status, or whatever fits the build. Terms are agreed in writing before serious work begins. If you need a paycheck, this is not for you. If you have wanted to co-build real products with someone who has the network, the vision, and the operational layer to actually launch them, keep reading.

WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY BUILDING A community platform. Editorial and magazine infrastructure. Internal tooling for label operations, artist management, and event production. Autonomous workflows and agentic systems covering business intelligence, content pipelines, scheduling, communications, and ops automation across the full stack. AI-native products: assistants, agent-based tools, vertical AI applications for cultural and creative industries. Standalone product experiments at the intersection of music, media, culture, and AI.

You pick what you want to work on. Parallel builds are fine. We sequence by what is ready and what excites you.
