Job description
Power BI, drawing from multiple, integrated data sources. You will join a cross-functional team at MIGx focused on delivering high-impact Data Services and scalable Data Products for our clients-primarily medium to large enterprises. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your capabilities in the data domain. In addition to working on a key data visualization initiative, you will contribute to implementing modern data architecture principles-guided by best practices such as Data Mesh, Microsoft Fabric, and the Medallion Architecture-to ensure scalability, modularity, and alignment with business goals. Responsibilities Build semantic data models to enable efficient reporting and analytics. Integrate and configure multiple data sources, with a focus on SQL-based systems. Generate and maintain analytical reports tailored to business requirements. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support various business stakeholders. data accuracy, performance, and usability. Design and develop dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to support data-driven decision-making. Requirements - Must have Advanced SQL expertise and solid understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL SQL knowledge to query, transform, and validate data across complex datasets Experience in data modeling and designing mapping sheets, including understanding data lineage (source * transformation * consumption) Ability to work in domain-oriented architectures (source and consumption domains, data products) with a "shift-left" mindset close to the data source Analytical mindset with the ability to understand business logic, ensure data consistency, and translate requirements into structured data flows Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google, GCP or AWS Comfortable working in an agile development environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) Requirements - Nice to have Experience in Denodo Experience in building ETL pipelines (Extract, Transform, Load) Proficiency in Python for data manipulation or automation Strong proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Visualization principles. 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one modern reporting tool.
